I have spent the past few years learning a little (just enough to be dangerous – not enough to be entirely useful to anyone) from my lovely nutritional genius sister, Sarah Williamson, when finally I decided to trial a gluten free diet.
That was it. I feel better (not that I thought that I felt bad – but it is all relative).
I really feel great. I have much more energy and less ups and downs.
From Gluten free I have moved on to a largely grain and sugar free diet. It’s incredible and doesn’t have to be boring or hard to manage ot stick to.
It’s not right for everyone, I know that – but this food can be just as good. In fact better. The restrictions make you work harder with the ingredients.
I have always experimented with recipes and this Blog is somewhere for me to put those recipes that really worked and feel indulgent and not at all a compromise. Because that’s what people think… I’m here to put that myth to bed.
Much of what I am starting out with here is pure indulgent food, so enjoy and let me know what you think…
